Seamless steel pipe is made of a whole round steel with holes. There is no weld on the surface of the steel pipe, which is called seamless steel pipe.

According to the production method, seamless steel pipes can be divided into hot-rolled seamless steel pipes, cold-rolled seamless steel pipes, cold-drawn seamless steel pipes, extruded seamless steel pipes, jacking pipes, etc.

There are three common methods for treating the inner wall of seamless steel pipes: coating, resin mortar, cement mortar.

However, all three methods have two problems: one is the bonding strength between the layer and the steel pipe. Both the coating and resin mortar methods require the rust removal of the inner and outer walls of the steel pipe before construction, but this is difficult to do. Therefore, the rust spots become the source of delamination in the future, causing corrosion and scaling. Second, most of the steel pipes are welded on site. It can only be done manually, the quality is not easy to control, and for small diameter pipes, because personnel cannot enter the construction site, they cannot carry out processing work, which also creates a hidden danger of weld damage in the future.

The advantages of seamless steel pipes are as follows:

1. Aluminum ingot processing method: Indirect extrusion seamless tube surface turning, no oxide scale involved; direct extrusion skin without turning, the product may have oxide layer involved.
2. The interaction between the aluminum ingot and the ingot barrel: The seamless pipe flows as a whole without friction.
3. Product appearance: The inner and outer walls of seamless pipes are smooth, with no burns or cracks on the surface. The appearance of seamed pipes is generally smooth.
4. Product mechanical properties: The metal flow at the end of seamless pipe products is uniform, the size and fatigue resistance are good, the mechanical properties are consistent, and there is no layered structure.
5. Product Category: Seamless pipes are especially suitable for extruding various super-hard alloy rods and tube profiles.
6. Economical: The price of seamless pipe is relatively high, which is suitable for manufacturing products. The price of seam pipe is relatively cheap, which is suitable for general products.

In daily life, we must do a good job of maintaining seamless steel pipes to avoid damage to seamless steel pipes. The specific practices are as follows :

1. When hanging and lifting seamless steel pipes, the wire rope is not allowed to be pulled obliquely to prevent the wire rope from falling out of the groove.
2. Pay attention to stability during operation, and ensure the safety and stability of personnel and equipment.
3. Regularly check the stability switches before and after the trolley and whether the stability switch at the maximum limit of hook rise is easy to operate and sensitive.
